Nigeria's Gift To The World:
The Tie & Dye (Adire) Fabrics
We use our Adire as a medium for telling the story of people, places, events, and culture. Our fabrics and raw materials are locally sourced within Nigeria, hence strengthening the economic chain from cotton farmers to final consumers.

We produce Adire textiles (Tie-dye and Batik) that are culturally inspired and adapted to suit contemporary needs of good quality and explore the numerous artistic and economic possibilities of this craft.

The class was an exciting challenge that any creative interested in the art would love to try out! I especially loved the drawing classes and how some of the art drawn could be a form of communication. In general, I'd say the ideas and skills gotten at the end of the course is a valuable take away for time and money spent!

I'd say Ayomi Arts unleashed the creativity in me. I learnt how to make tie and dye and since then, I've proceeded to creating not just tie and dye but beautiful art pieces. The training has especially helped me incorporate African wears into my school's culture as well as make learning fun for the students.
